What will I be doing? Will it cost me anything? How often do I need to come out? How do I get in touch? How do I get to the site? Do I need to bring tools or equipment? Do I have to wear/bring anything special? Do I need any experience? Do I need to be interviewed first? What if I have a medical condition? Am I too old? How hard will I be expected to work? Is it safe? Can I take my dog?
Is it safe? There is no more danger in our volunteering events than in any other standard outdoor activity. Each project is assessed and managed to keep everyone safe. All our project leaders are trained in and equipped with first aid.
