Would you like to do something different while holidaying in Ireland?
The Conservation Volunteers have teamed up with Conservation Services and are organizing Conservation Holidays during the spring and summer months. These holidays are designed around specific environmental tasks in some of Ireland’s most scenic locations. For anyone interested in the environment and the outdoors, this is a great way to help out, meet new people, learn new skills and have a great holiday!
Working Holidays range from five days to two weeks. No previous experience is necessary, as you will be led by trained volunteer leaders and staff. You just need to be team-spirited, enjoy being outdoors in beautiful locations and not mind getting your hands dirty and working hard!
Accommodation is provided to volunteers free of charge as are tools, insurance and health & safety gear. Transport to the location is usually up to you but sometimes we can organise transport for you. There is a small admin charge of €40 to join a project.
Check out the list of upcoming volunteer residential projects Conservation Services is leading on www.conservationservices.ie and on facebook.
E-mail Conservation Services on firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested or if you would like to be kept informed of future working holidays.
